De-energized pipe-type tap-changer

The usage scope and technical features of tube-type tap-changer

    This is an new three- phase tube-type tap-changer,it is combined by the body of tap-changer and an operating turning framework, when the transformer is under non-energized state , we can turn over the tap position to change transformer ratio and stabilize output voltage,The single phase and “ 1+2” phase tube-type tap-changer are suitable for installation on vertical direction,but the three-phase tube-type product is suitable for vertical or horizontal installation .

    These series of products are specially designed for large or medium oil-immersed power transformer, full hermetically transformer or transformers for specially used , they are frequency normally on 50Hz or 60Hz, and suitable for flat type or bell-type oil tank , its Highest voltage for equipment is up to 252kV and below ,rated current up to 4000A and below. 

This product has many technical features and owned a certain of national patent right protection .

(1) Simple and lively appearance ,reliable structure equipped with solid construct pieces .

(2) Light moment , turn over tap position clearly . The product has technical design features as following : body pieces are restricted each other and functioned each other ,you can change the tap position freely and exactly ,compared with the same type of products , it has obvious superiority features.

(3) No conductors and switch cover being equipped on the outer body of product . This is a full hermetially outer insulation screen which can withstand high voltage impulse .so no puncture discharge will rise between the narrow gaps , even if the air gap of the tap-changer is very near the active body of the transformer.

Equipments of the product
1.Pipe-form switch (radial line) is equipped with operation mechanism, insulation controlling pole, welding flange and seal wash.Drum switch (axis line) is equipped without flange.
2.Pipe-form switch is equipped with an insulation controlling pole of 800mm, and drum switch with a 1200mm one. If you need a longer one, please indicate in the order.
3.The length of drum tap-changer (pipe-form tap-changer) lead is 700mm, user can specify with exceptive requirements.
4.The applicable lead section: 250A - > 70mm* ; 400A →120mm' ; 500A →150mm*; 630A→185mm'; 800A→240mm' ;1000A and up, use twin lead user can specify with exceptive requirements.
5.Insulation methods of lead section: insulation cover of drum switch lead is 500mm, one layer-thickness of the cover for 10 ~ 35kV transformer lead is 4mm, and 66 ~ 110kV 6mm,220kV 10mm. Drum switch is not covered.

WDG II series de-energized drum-formed tap-changer

This type of changer is comprised by tap-changer body and operating mechanism, Being adopted by crank principle ,compress spring and ring-type motive contact, They have the merits of reasonable in structure ,operating simply ,location automation,good in handing and contact reliable etc, It is suitable for oil-immersed transformer with frequency of 50 or 60Hz,highest voltage for equipment 40.5kV or 126kV and 252kV,rated current from 200 A to 2500A, The body of tap-changer is fixed on the tanking transformer or on the body of lower part of oil tank, The operating mechanism is located on the tank cover, they must be working under non-energized condition.

New features of drum-formed tap-changer

1、The part of tap-changer body
a、The turning part of the tap-changer is made of new structure ,turning flexibly and small operating moment.It can work normally after the tap-changer is dried with high temperature.
b、The automatic orientation device is made in the switch,after the motive contact is passed through“ dead point', it can orientate by itself and eliminate the position excursion phenomena,This operation makes the tap-changer have strong handle feeling.
C、The direction guiding barrel is added in the switch,when the switch is assembled once again, the operating pole can be inset to the position exactly and conveniently.
2、The part of operating mechanism
a、The flange is fixed with new installation method, the flange on the operating mechanism can turn freely along with the turning angel of the tap-changer body. Adjustment the steps of tap-changer is not required.
b、Only connect rightly to the operating pole using its actual length, it makes assembly more easily.
C、When the tap-changer is turned to the end part of position, the handle pole can not be gone forward and the cover can' t be put on, this will prevent the tap-changer from any fault operation.
