Rated voltage of 220 kV (with a maximum equipment voltage of 252 kV) and below, rated current of 3,000 A and below, available with various tap‑changing methods, and capable of manual and electric operation from either the top or the side of the enclosure.

Product Uses and Scope of Application
This product series comprises no‑excitation tap changers for oil‑immersed, off‑load voltage‑regulating transformers. Featuring a vertical cage‑type structure, the switching mechanisms—classified according to internal design—include linear regulation, single‑bridge bridging, double‑bridge bridging, Y‑shunt conversion, series‑parallel conversion, and forward/reverse regulation. Installation options are available in either top‑box or bell‑type configurations, while operating modes comprise top‑cover manual, floor‑mounted manual, and electric actuation. These switches are suitable for a wide range of applications, including power, rectifier, and electric‑furnace transformers, with rated frequencies of 50 Hz or 60 Hz, maximum equipment voltages up to 252 kV, and rated currents ranging from 250 A to 3,000 A. Please note that this switch may only be operated when the transformer is de‑energized and without excitation.

For this installation method (floor-mounted, manually operated), add the letter “J” after the switch model number for identification. Dimensions not indicated on the switch body shall be subject to confirmation by fax.
