Product Details

WSPlI, WSPIIl, Series de-energized Tap-changer (Tray form)

This switch was jointly designed in May 1994 by the Shenyang Transformer Research Institute and several manufacturers at Sanmen Tenglong Electrical Appliance Co., Ltd. It incorporates a novel structure, new materials, and advanced manufacturing processes—specifically, the lower portion of the switch housing has been reduced in height by 50–80 mm—and boasts a well‑thought‑out design, excellent tactile feedback, smooth and flexible operation, precise positioning, superior sealing performance, and low contact resistance. It represents an upgraded, next‑generation product for no‑excitation tap changers in China and received ministerial‑level appraisal in December 1995. Available in both three‑phase and single‑phase versions, it is suitable for oil‑immersed power transformers operating at frequencies of 50 or 60 Hz, with maximum rated voltages of 12 kV, 40.5 kV, or 72.5 kV, and rated currents of 63 A, 125 A, 250 A, or 400 A. The switch can be directly mounted on the transformer tank cover or wall and enables tap changes under no‑excitation conditions.

Tap changers rated at 63 A are suitable for transformer tank covers with thicknesses of 5–8 mm (except for single-phase units); those rated at 125 A are suitable for covers 5–10 mm thick; and the 250 A and 400 A models are designed for covers 8–14 mm thick. The moving contact assemblies are available in clip‑type and roller‑type configurations—clip‑type units carry no designation, while roller‑type units must be specified at the time of order. We can also manufacture tap changers with extended mounting height to accommodate tank covers of greater thickness, as required by the customer. Please indicate any additional special requirements when placing your order.
The curent of 63A tap-changer is applicable to 5~8mm transformer cover (except single phase); The current of 125A tap-changer is applicable to 5~10mm transformer cover. The current of 250A and 400A tap-changers are applicable to 8~14mm transformer cover. The moving contact's structure is clamping type or roling type. The clamping type has no code number. If you need the rolling type, pleaseillustrate in ordering.
We can manufacture the tap-changer with raised highness beneath the cover in accordance with the customer's requirement.
If you have other specific requirements please detail it in ordering.

Whole sealing (QMF)tray-form, linearity de-energized tap-changer
Fully sealed disc‑type and strip‑type no‑excitation tap changers are used in fully sealed oil‑immersed power transformers. In accordance with the requirements of fully sealed transformers, the sealing performance of the switch has been enhanced through a double‑seal design, ensuring leak‑free operation and thereby improving the overall performance of the transformer. The installation method and mounting dimensions of this switch are identical to those of conventional switches of the same model.
