Rated voltage of 66 kV (maximum equipment voltage of 72.5 kV) and below, with a rated current of 2000 A and below.

This switch consists of an electric actuator, the switch body, and an electric controller. It is available in two configurations—vertical and horizontal (W)—and is suitable for oil-immersed furnace transformers with a maximum rated voltage of 72.5 kV or less and a rated current of 2000 A or less. Tap changing is performed under no‑excitation conditions and can be operated either electrically or manually.

A model designation followed by “U5” indicates that the center-to-center diameter of the mounting holes on the cover of this circular tap changer is 520 mm.

The designation “U4” appended to the model number indicates that the center-to-center diameter of the mounting holes on the cover of this circular tap changer enclosure is 425 mm.

The model add-on U5 means the diameter of the cover's hole of this tap-changer is 520mm;

The model add-on U4 means the diameter of the cover 's hole of this tap-changer is 425mm.
